Louise Shaffer
Prayers for my sister Susan Powell who lives in CA. She was diagnosed with a glioblastoma. She has decided to go ahead with 3 weeks of chemo and radiation. Even though we know this tumor is terminal we also know God can preform miracles. She starts radiation on Nov 24. Right now she suffers with a useless left arm, she drags her left leg and seasure are starting to affect her right side. Appreciate all you prayers.

Please pray for health and strength as I finish this semester. I still have papers and a conference presentation, but I’m feeling very weak and exhausted. I don’t know if I’m sick. Pray for healing, and pray for God’s mercy grace, lovingkindness and assistance during the end of this semester. Pray for God’s mighty support, wisdom and guidance. Pray that the Lord will help me to bring everything I’ve learned into order, make all the connections, understand it all and tie it together so I can write these papers effectively. Thank you for your mighty prayers!

This semester, I am taking three rigorous courses in Biola’s MA TESOL program, including a practicum teaching online ESL classes. I would greatly appreciate prayers for wisdom, focus, and endurance. Please pray that I can plan and design all my lessons for the entire semester well in advance, using efficient, creative strategies to make the process smooth and the lessons excellent and engaging. Pray for strong teamwork with my assistant teacher as we work to help our students improve their English. Additionally, pray that I stay ahead in my coursework, manage my time wisely, and maintain balance, relying on God’s strength and grace to avoid burnout. Your prayers mean so much—thank you for your support!
